HP Chromebox G2 launches ahead of the CES 2018 event

So close to the CES event 2018, HP launches the new HP Chromebox G2 with updated features. The last Chromebox was launched in 2014 which is quite a while ago. HP has already lined up many products which it will be showcasing in the Consumer Electronics Show.

The latest Chormebox G2 by HP is featured with the latest specification. It packs in Celeron 3865U processor with an upgraded 7th gen Intel Core i5-7300 processor and the latest 8th gen Intel Core i7-8650U.  It sports a 16GB of DDR4 RAM with an optional 32GB and 64GB of SSD storage.

The HP Chromebox G2 is well equipped with a lot of ports including a Micro SD card slot, HDMI port, USB Type-C port, 3 USB 3.0 ports and an Ethernet port. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack port on the front along with the power button.

The display features a base Celeron model with Intel HD Graphics, but with the i-series model, the Chromebox G2 can connect to a UHD display owing to the Intel UHD Graphics 620. However, the company has revealed that the Chromebox G2 has will be available from April 2018 onwards. The price of the Chromebox G2 is not yet revealed by the company, but with the Intel processor under the hood, the HP Chromebox is definitely giving a competition to its competitors.
